It was an evening like no other. It was surreal. It was exciting. The FivestarMan BIG Encounter in Douglasville, Georgia on January 16 was the culmination of months of prayer and hard work. The team at the Church at Chapel Hill did an amazing job preparing and executing the event.

And here is the payoff: We were humbled to see hundreds of men commit themselves to the 45-Day Challenge to resurrect authentic manhood in their lives.

The challenge won’t be easy. Nothing of great value is ever achieved without facing violent opposition. But by the end of the 45 days, men will have a new passion for their lives. They will recondition themselves for adventure. They will develop a new walk with their Father. Their children will run to them—not from them. They will intentionally date their wives. They will live to leave a legacy.

“I went to the Encounter last night at Church of Chapel Hill in Douglasville, GA. It was the most inspiring thing I have ever went to. I am so excited that Christ is back into my life!” ~Darren

I wish I could tell you every story that I heard from men who are passionate about renewing their commitment to be authentic men. I wish you could have been there with me in seeing over 90 men make a confession of faith. I hope that in the future we can see it happen in your church, your region of the country.

The Encounter was recorded and will be available for Fivestarman groups to present to their men and launch their own Fivestarman 45-Day Challenge. The DVD will be available in just a few days.

Let’s resurrect authentic manhood!

-Neil

I feel very blessed to have had the opportunity to hear Neil Kennedy speak at CCH yesterday. I brought 2 of my sons with me and they had a blast ath the 5 star Big Encounter. It is sometimes hard to talk with them (teenagers) about how important being an authentic man is. I was challenged to be a Man and not just any man, a man of God. I feel a whole new sense of responsibility and am up to the challange.
Thank you for your Ministry and being faithful to your call.

I just wanted to thank my church family at CCH and you Neil for working so hard to equip men with the tools they need to be what the Lord God Almighty has called us all to be! REAL MEN! Men of Honor, Integrity, Humility, and all of the passions laid out in Five Star Man! It breaks my heart every day when I run into males who have taken on an effiminate nature for various reasons. It seems to be so rampant in recent years. The saddest part is that they have forgotten or were never told that they are MEN and that’s exactly what they are supposed to be! I’ve taken the 45 day challenge and I’m four days in so far. I’ve recruited a couple of friends to join in. This is exciting!!

Thanks Guys, we are so glad that you are a vital part of FIVESTARMAN. Mark, I was especially humbled at the thought of how FSM can impact young men. Wow, thanks for bringing your sons. Ricky, you can do it! The Challenge will seem easy at times and impossible at other times. Thanks for recruiting other men to join the movement to resurrect authentic manhood.
