In all the time you and your spouse spend together, your husband or wife will eventually do something that makes you angry. Big or small, important or unimportant, anger-charged situations are going to come up. And since God created us to be able to feel anger, you’re going to get mad.
One of the questions that I get asked a lot from other pastors or leaders is this: “What do I do with this person who has become unreasonable? They complain, gossip, and are never happy. And when I try to reason with them, they are absolutely unwilling to listen or even try to build some type of common ground.”
Andy Andrews: I think a lot of times people think that hanging on to the past is somehow punishing the person who did something to them. I have pondered this question a lot myself until I realized I was mad at someone who is dead!
