Be Strong. Be a Man!

Be Strong. Be a Man!

Biblical manhood — authentic manhood — is counter-cultural. Why does this culture have such misandry, such contempt for men?

  • First, it is a spiritual war, not just about your manhood. Wars are fought in the heavens (against angelic rulers, authorities, principalities, and powers) before victories are realized on this Earth. (Ephesians 3:10; 6:12)
  • Secondly, because you have received Him (the Word of God made Flesh, namely Jesus) and believed in His Name (Salvation), He gave you the right (authority, power, privilege) to become a son of God. (See John 1:12; Isaiah 56:5)
  • Finally, this culture hates you because they can’t dominate you. They want to exercise control over you and influence you away from serving God and fulfilling your purpose on this Earth.

I want to encourage you.

It is not a time for weakness. Compromise is not a Biblical concept. Please don’t do it. Resist the temptation of comfort. Don’t be seduced by the sofa. Don’t chase fantasies.

It is crucial that in this new era, you are not passive. No! It’s time for you to reach higher.

There’s a gravitational pull for man to remain grounded on this Earth. Yet, there is also an adventurous spirit that propels men to reach. To reach new heights, a man must become wiser and spiritually empowered. He must become stronger.

Man was not made for the Earth. The Earth was made for him — not intended as an anchor to hold Man down but as the launching pad to explore the heavens.

Once a man has tasted the heavenly gift, his walk on the Earth becomes meaningful, passionate, and purposeful.

Now is the time for Man to set his sights higher. To become the man intended by the heavens.

The Scriptures tell us, “The first man, Adam, a living person.” (Genesis 2:7). But the last Adam—that is, Christ—is a life-giving Spirit. What comes first is the natural body, then the spiritual body comes later. Adam, the first man, was made from the dust of the Earth, while Christ, the second man, came from heaven. Earthly people are like the worldly man, and heavenly people are like the heavenly man. Just as we are now like the earthly man, let us be like the heavenly man. 1 Corinthians 15:45

You are no longer an earthly man, but now you are a heavenly man. This world hates you because you are no longer bound to its limitations. As a believer in Christ, you can rise above it.

So, cast off what constrains you. No longer bind yourself to the habits and entanglements that hinder your walk of obedience in the Word.

Be strong and be a Man!

FivestarMan exists to inspire you. We work diligently to encourage you. I pray for you!

Great encouragement! A reminder of who we are and whose we are. It is a spiritual battle. The culture cannot dominate me!
