Day 118: To Be Evil-Minded is Non-Sense

Proverbs 28:5

Justice makes no sense to the evil-minded;
those who seek God know it inside and out.

Principle

To be evil-minded is non-sense. To seek God is sensible.

Man was created after the image and likeness of God; therefore, within man is a conscience – the seat of appetites, judgment, mind, memory, the seat of emotions, moral character, and seat of courage. It is the spark of our soul of the divine deposit which governs our actions.

For that which is known about God is evident to them and made plain in their inner consciousness because God [Himself] has shown it to them. – Romans 1:19

When men consistently refuse their inner conscience, their heart becomes hard, and their neck becomes stiff. For example, during the generation of Noah, “every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.” (Genesis 6:5)

That’s why there is such a disconnect in our current culture – people are consistently rejecting the inner conscience and are becoming evil-minded. We’re living in a time that righteousness doesn’t make sense to them. They can’t comprehend it.

However, the benefit of seeking God results in a clearer and brighter conscience.

    That’s because we allowed our culture to change to align with the world… everybody is getting tattooed even though God never changed his mind from Leviticus 19:28. Women barely wear clothes to church.
