Day 131: Good Work Is A Virtue

Proverbs 11:18

Bad work gets paid with a bad check; good work gets solid pay.

31Good work is a virtue. It is a representation of the man himself.

God gave Man a job before He gave Man a wife. We have a purpose in business. A FivestarMan is entrepreneurial, which means that God placed within the man the desire to meet his needs, grant his family’s desires, and finance his purpose.

Our Advisor encourages us not just to work to get by but to do our work with excellence. You know what to expect from the average guy, but a champion exceeds all expectations.

Work with a smile on your face, always keeping in mind that no matter who happens to be giving the orders, you’re really serving God. Good work will get you good pay from the Master. – Ephesians 6:7

What kind of attitude and skill would we work with if we considered working directly for the Master? That’s how we should approach our work – regardless of whether we are working for ourselves or someone else.
