Day 146: Don’t Be a Know-It-All

Proverbs 26:12

Do you see a man wise in his own eyes and conceit? There is more hope for a self-confident fool than for him.

Principle

The only one worse off than a fool is a know-it-all.

We’re surrounded by the most narcissistic of all generations, those who look down on their elitist noses and want to dictate their foolishness on everyone but themselves. They teach theories in our universities. They pass laws on the populace but exempt themselves. They’ve prophesied their apocalyptic doomsday scenarios – “it’s the end of the world as we know it.” That is unless, of course, we submit our freedoms and lifestyles to satisfy their demands.

Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools. Romans 1:22

The problem for the know-it-alls is that they don’t know what they don’t know. They’re worse than the fool because they aren’t just ignorant and simple-minded; their minds are perverted, warped, and delusional.

The funny thing about these people, these so-called, smart people – they’re playing right into the hand of God – their wisdom is foolishness. Don’t worry about these kinds of people; they will suffer from their own stupidity. Their perverted mind will turn on itself.
