Day 233: Nothing is Hidden
Proverbs 21:12
The Righteous One knows what is going on in the homes of the wicked; he will bring disaster on them.
Principle
Men will give an account for the evil which they do.
The stories are horrific – stories of abuse within the home – stories of insidious evil. It is hard to comprehend why people treat those within their family with such depravity.
As a pastor, I was made aware of things that I couldn’t even describe and would not allow myself to even speak of the evil that was done. If we’re not careful, we can become calloused by the evil that men do.
Let me be very clear – men will give an account for the evil which they do!
If a man raises his hand to strike a woman, he has forfeited his manhood and is a poor excuse for what it means to be a man. If a father perverts the hand designed to bless his children and he molests his children – God has mercy on his soul, but he will face a judgment deserving of his evil.
Make no mistake about it – the Righteous One knows what is going on in the home of the wicked, and His wrath will be poured out upon him.
I know that this isn’t a word of encouragement for those who perpetrate evil – but it is encouraging for those who have seen evil done. It is refreshing to know they will not get away with it.
