Day 259: Good Leader vs Bad Leader

Proverbs 16:14-15

An intemperate leader wreaks havoc in lives; you’re wise to stay clear of someone like that. Good-tempered leaders invigorate lives; they’re like spring rain and sunshine.

Principle

Leaders can wreak havoc or can invigorate your life.

Have you ever worked for someone who flew off the handle at minor things? Intemperate leaders are emotional extremists who lack control of themselves and take it out on anyone and everyone near them.

Serving under this kind of leadership can be incredibly discouraging. As you want to improve your lot through progressing in your skills and abilities, an intemperate leader can be a disaster – he can wreak havoc in your life.

A good leader draws upon your gift set and brings life to your talents. This kind of leader can have a tremendous influence on your life. Serving under a leader that brings out the best in you is like sunshine after a stormy day when you’ve been operating under a harsh taskmaster.

I like the new look. I always read the devotion before I listened to the video. Now I can follow the print as I listen. Have a great day.
