Proverbs 23:26

Don’t cheat your neighbor by moving the ancient boundary markers set up by previous generations.

Principle

When we follow God’s ways, we are acknowledging that His ways are superior to our ways.

Remember, the Hebrew word for heart is the “seat of purposes, appetites, and emotions.” That means that when you align your purposes to the Father, your cravings will thirst and hunger for Him – thus, your emotions will follow.

Men relate differently than women do – women relate face-to-face sharing feelings – while men relate shoulder-to-shoulder facing a challenge. That doesn’t mean that men aren’t emotional – it means that our emotions flow from our purposes.

That’s why the foundational philosophy of FivestarMan is to speak to the heart of man – when we focus on a man’s purposes, he will cast off the things that could constrain him.

When we follow God’s ways, we are acknowledging that His ways are superior to our ways. His purposes for us are better than whatever plans that we could concoct.
