Day 267: The Protocol of Prosperity
Proverbs 24:27
Finish your outdoor work and get your fields ready; after that, build your house.

Plant your fields – build your barn – enjoy the benefits.
There’s a process involved in prospering – It involves the Law of Seed. God gave us the Law of Seed so that we can satisfy our cravings in life. He gave us Seed as a gift – the ability to sow a seed for a determined harvest is amazing.
However, the Law of Seed involves work. It’s a fantasy to expect a future in which you haven’t sown a seed to harvest. The real challenge of today’s culture is that most people want to enjoy a harvest that they haven’t worked to have.
Authentic manhood is motivated by a strong work ethic and a determination to honor the protocol of prosperity (Seed-Time-Harvest). At the end of a good work day, we’re able to sit down on the porch, look over our fields, look at the barn, and be grateful for our labor. I am speaking metaphorically of our work – being able to look back at our labor with joy.
