The Lord’s curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the home of the righteous.
Your home should be and can be blessed.
I grew up in a tumultuous home —filled with strife and disorder. Even as a child, I knew that when I became an adult that I would not have a home with strife.
Very early in our marriage, my wife and I made a decision to have a home of peace. I remember the day that we decided that we would not go to sleep with the house being unkept or in disorder. After three decades, I can confidently say that it was one of the best decisions that we made as a young couple.
We feel extremely blessed in our home. We have a home of peace.
As a man, you can set the tone of the home. When you walk in from a difficult day of work, it can be a place of refuge and peace. It can be your place of confidence and security.
Set the tone of the home.
