The house of the wicked will be destroyed,
but the tent of the upright will flourish.
Life isn’t about cars, clothes, and cottages – it’s about a cause.
There was a time that the American Dream of owning a home was the equivalent of being prosperous. Sadly, that “dream” became a nightmare for millions of people who had been enticed to enter into a financial loan that didn’t make budgetary sense for their income.
Many lenders used unscrupulous tactics and even wicked strategies to trick people into disastrous loans that were doomed to fail. The housing bubble was a disaster.
Interestingly, if you read the eleventh chapter of Hebrews (also known as the Hall of Faith), you discover that many people of faith saw what they believed for from a distance but did not take residence of it.
They wandered in deserts and mountains, living in caves and in holes in the ground. – Hebrews 11:38
It is clear that these people are noted for their faith, yet they also were nomadic. Their tents flourished.
Don’t confuse cars, clothes, and cottages for your life purpose – you’re living a life of faith for a cause.
