7 Practical Applications for the Law of Seed

by Neil Kennedy

Most of us have heard Einstein’s brilliant definition of insanity, “Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”

Unfortunately, as much as we’ve heard it, few have practically applied it into their lives. Think about it, millions, if not billions, of people are habitually living out their days in the hope that one day things will be different.

That’s not going to happen for them unless they do something different today.

God established a currency for the earth to operate by. This currency is a principle that governs all economies of the earth. It is the Law of Seed.

Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. 12The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. – Genesis 1:11

There is something very significant repeated three times in these few verses, the phrase, “according to their kinds.” Within the seed is the reproductive ability to produce after it’s own kind. That law is dictated by the command within it’s genetic code. Seed cannot decide within it’s self to be different. It can be manipulated by man; however, the seed can’t make that choice.

This is an extremely important principle. This is the currency of the earth. In fact, it is guaranteed to endure as long as the earth exists.

“As long as the earth endures,
seedtime and harvest,
cold and heat,
summer and winter,
day and night
will never cease.”
– Genesis 8:22

This principle is in play in everyone’s life. Whether you like it or not − whether you believe it or not − it is governing your life.

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. – Galatians 6:7

This law governs your life.

7 Practical Applications for the Law of Seed

1. It is a fantasy to expect a future which you haven’t sown a seed to harvest. (Read Proverbs 28:19)

2. Don’t sow negative words and expect positive results. Your words work by the Law of Seed. (Read Luke 8:11)

3. Man’s currency or money operates on the Law of Seed. (Read 2 Corinthians 9:6)

4. YOU determine the size of the harvest, by the size of your planting. (Read 2 Corinthians 9:6-11)

5. If what you currently have is not enough, use it as a seed. (Read Luke 6:38)

6. Your financial condition is determined by: spending; saving; sowing. (Read Matthew 6:33)

7. God gave man seed to determine his diet. With seed you have the ability to sow for a determined harvest, so that you may satisfy your cravings.

The Law of Seed is the currency of the earth. You can’t escape it so learn to work it, and your life, family, and business will dramatically change.

Yes. Whenever I need something I always come across someone with the same need on a smaller scale: If I’m late for work there’s someone with their blinker on needing into my lane. I yield and receive a much larger break in traffic down the road. The Lord Jesus knows our needs even before we do. Thus He constantly brings others who need our help, so that we can sow kindness and reap the same!
