Bounce Your Eyes
“Anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” Mark 5:28
We cannot underestimate the destructive power of pornography. It is a scourge on society and is especially pathetic for men. Modern culture is so pervasive with sexual imagery that advertisers can’t sell a simple hamburger without using it in their ad campaigns. It is a lazy strategy and an inexcusable insult to manhood.
You will never flourish in your personal relationship with your wife as long as you are divided in your affections with your eyes.
Learn to bounce your eyes away from attractive women. When you are watching television, learn to look away from the commercials that use sex to sell. When you are in a room and an attractive woman walks in turn away from her and do not gaze upon her.
The eyes are the gatekeepers to your thoughts. You can win this battle simply by developing the bounce technique. This is a real challenge but it is worth winning. You can do this! You can have a pure heart and life.
TODAY’S CHALLENGE
Go a full 24 hours without allowing your eyes to gaze upon a woman whether on television, websites, magazines, or in person.

I do this often, but only if I think crazy. I do believe women should be able to be beautiful, sexy, what ever. Its up to us as men to control our thoughts. Should we think sexual everytime a beautiful women comes in? To me inner beauty is more powerful then beauty. Like love!!!!!!!! Which over comes all. Just my oppion guys. How about when a beautiful women comes in, turn your thoughts.
This is a good one. It really helps a man keep his moral compass pointed north. Women need to be respected and if we, as authentic men, need to show that women are not some “device,” if you will, used to be lusted after. If we respect women, in turn they will begin to respect themselves.
My wife and I made a commitment a long time ago to stay away from all nudity. You need not be surprised by a movie if you will simply use imdb. You can download it on your phone and check something prior to watching. It will only take 30 seconds and will keep your eyes pure. Isn’t she worth 30 seconds?
Confidence / Distance / Respect around all women is key as they can each be beautiful in their own way. The real point is to not slip into that allure. To do that takes great focus.
