Day 26 | Adventurous Spirit

Don’t Give Up!

“Brethren, do not be weary in well-doing.”  2 Thessalonians 3:13

How is your fitness coming?  Are you still focused?  One of the challenges in moving forward is pushing through to the end.  The key is to not become weary in well-doing.

To weary means to become utterly spiritless. Many times we can find ourselves worn-out trying to do better.  At this stage of the challenge you may be questioning whether all this is worth it.  This is the time to refocus on the goal.  You may need to dig deep to tap into the adventurous spirit that resides within you.

You are drawing upon the uncommon reserves that men have but are often times unwilling to pursue.  The adventurous spirit makes you get moving.  It is easier to be comfortable, to simply settle for the status quo, but you will never reach your potential doing what is average.

The 45-Day Challenge is similar to developing strength through working out with weights.

  • Resistance is necessary because it strengthens your resolve.
  • Repetition is important because it develops muscle memory.
  • Rest is vital because it allows for recovery.
  • Routine is mandatory because it develops habits.
  • Rewards are celebrated because they motivate us.

Don’t give up!  Keep moving forward toward resurrected authentic manhood.

Refocus on your fitness.  Check your weight.  Check your routine.  Are you coasting or are you pressing through?  How is your diet?
